Sometimes, a puppy is not the right addition to a home. Occasionally we have (or know of) available adults.
If a puppy is not right for you and you are interested in a young adult or a retired Champion please contact us. Especially if yours is a home that will give to them as much as they have given to the breed.
Please call or email Lea at leajacobs@wideopenwest.com to learn more.
Due to life changes Chase (and possibly Cheerio) are in need of new homes. As the breeder of Chase I am forever ultimately responsible for him. Chase is one of the Great Pyrenees x Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies produced due to the frozen semen veterinary error. Below is a little bit about Chase and a few photos.
Chase is attached to Cheerio at the hip. He loves her and worries about her when she is stressed. Cheerio has some major anxiety issues. She won't let anyone touch her but me and my ex husband and sometimes my mom who she sees every few months. Chase is pretty much the follower of the two. But if he has a bone he will growl at her if she tries to take it. He also steals her bones. He is not as possessive of toys. He is never mean to Cheerio. They play and wrestle all the time. He gets along well with other animals, dogs and cats, but I always feel like I need to watch him with new animals at first because he acts a little worried until he gets to know them. He is a little "iffy" around small children but only if they come at him fast and loud. He has never bitten or even attempted to bite anyone. He just acts scared. He is very laid back. He loves to play ball and loves his belly scratched. And he loves to be outside, although when he is ready to come in he is ready NOW. lol. He would probably do best in a home with other animals because he will not like being without Cheerio. He is used to having a fenced in back yard and does not like going to the bathroom on the leash. (I know!) He likes attention and will sometimes paw me to be scratched. He is a little bit spoiled.
